Silks Place Yilan creates a dream world for children. It has 193 spacious, bright rooms, a restaurant famous for its cherry duck, banquet halls and meeting rooms, and it is the only international five-star tourist hotel in downtown Yilan City.
Why it works for families
It is a great value for families with children. An entire floor, Fendoqi Castle (芬朵奇堡), has been turned into a racetrack, and every room comes with its own electric ride-on car that can be driven right into the room. The rooms also have small tents so children can play inside.
In the treasure hunt, the cinema, the Tom’s World arcade and the Carrefour in the neighbouring mall are all turned into game locations, and you can take the kids along on the challenge. After breakfast the whole family can run off to play hide-and-seek in the Crescent Plaza shopping mall.
The comfortable 7th-floor play area has many children’s play zones, so parents only need to bring swimwear and a wallet and can relax.
Fendoqi Castle on the 8th floor
The 8th-floor plaza is built as the children’s favourite Fendoqi Castle, a comfortable and safe place for the whole family, suitable for toddlers through older children. The large open-air plaza has two giant slides for thrills and speed, plus bouncy cushions. A figure-eight track lets children drive various branded mini sports cars while learning traffic rules and enjoying role play.
