Xpark offers many close encounters with animals. It is relaxing, and a good outing for families. Children under 4 get in free (per the original article), so it is worth visiting a few times before they turn four.
Formosa Zone: a huge tank full of fish
The Formosa Zone has a very large tank with all kinds of sea life, including sharks and rays. It is spectacular.
Cold Zone: penguin encounters
The seals chase and roll over each other all the time, and their short, chubby bodies and flippers are adorable. The penguin area is beautiful, with king penguins and Magellanic penguins. The king penguins stand and rest so that visitors can take turns photographing them, which makes for a great close-up experience.
Jellyfish area
The jellyfish area is a great spot for photos. On a long weekend there was a big crowd and a long queue, but it was worth the wait because the pictures look beautiful. When we arrived around 7:30 p.m. only one or two groups were taking photos, and after we finished a staff member showed us a shortcut out of the hall.
Coral Zone
A 180-degree panoramic design lets you watch brightly coloured corals and the fish swimming among them, and it conveys the energy of the ocean.
Warm Seas
The cradle of life, full of vitality.
Deep Sea
This area feels like another world: an unknown, dimly lit realm where you can discover mysterious deep-sea creatures.
Rainforest
A tropical rainforest adventure through a land of abundance.
Shared viewing area
This is where visitors can sit and rest. On the day we visited we watched a South American sea lion show, and the sea lions were very cute. We arrived 20 minutes early and were lucky to get a front-row seat close to the sea lions. It is a good show for adults and children together, and you can buy food at the neighbouring restaurant to eat while you wait.
Xcafe by PRONTO
This is an unusual restaurant. From time to time penguins pass through a glass walkway in the middle of the dining room, swimming as if they were flying through the air, while you eat.
Floor guide
The visitor route runs from the entrance on 2F, to 3F, and out through 1F.
